Cold water will never be an issue again The Equation range features our most advanced insulating technologies to keep you warm and ready to ride the biggest waves in any conditions. Equation wetsuits are made with the latest Eicoprene technology, a non-petroleum based synthetic foam derived from a mix of oyster shell powder, limestone and recycled tires. To laminate the recycled polyester lining we use Aqua-A™, a solvent-free water-based glue with no harmful chemicals. The Equation 5/4 Front Zip version is designed for sessions in cold water (44°F-55 °F). The WPF lining (Warmth Performance), our warmest lining available, makes this wetsuit stand out. The 3D-Knit construction and the WPF lining provide warmth by trapping air between each loop. The denser fabric offers extra comfort. Its front zip and watertight seals minimize water entry. For new surfers or seasoned expert, the versatility of the Mod Fun makes it an excellent choice if you need one board to handle all the conditions where you live and travel. This board is a great wave catcher - the outline has width and stability under your chest with a medium full nose for easy paddling. Plus the low to medium nose rocker helps paddling speed, stops nose diving and allows good glide on small or weak waves. As the surf jumps up, step back and the board transforms. You’ll find a board that feels shorter than it’s length, thanks to the pulled in tail and vee running from the centre out through the fins.
